Idaho's Daily Moment of Silence Requirement

Beginning the 2026-2027 school year, Idaho public schools will implement a daily 60-second moment of silence at the beginning of each school day. This is pursuant to Idaho Code 33-1639 (https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title33/t33ch16/sect33-1639/?utm_source=chatgpt.com), which was passed by the Idaho Legislature in 2026.
